About the event

India’s greatest art forms are inspired by the hidden glory of India, its spirituality. Join us for a panel discussion presented by members of ISKCON Round Rock addressing India’s spiritual teachings in the 21st century. The speakers will provide an introduction to bhakti yoga, Hinduism, and its practice in modern society, through engaging demonstrations, guided meditation sessions, and thought-provoking discussion.

The evening will conclude with a participatory demonstration of kirtan. All are welcome to join the community singing. No previous kirtan experience needed.

____________ RSVP required to attend, with suggested pay-what-you-can donation to support additional and ongoing programs celebrating the work of local artists specializing in Indian arts, music, and cultural traditions. Please reserve free tickets for community members who cannot afford to attend otherwise.

___________ About the Speakers

Tushar Bajaj (Ram Vijaya das) has been practicing the path of spirituality for almost 2 decades. He currently serves as the temple president at ISKCON of Round Rock, a growing temple community in Round Rock and has presented on topics of spiritual India in various forums around Austin.

Vijay Krishna Bajaj (Mahabhava Rasaraj Murti das) is a youth leader in ISKCON of Round Rock community. He is currently a senior about to graduate. He has been practicing Bhakti Yoga from a very young age and is passionate about how young people should take up spiritual arts and culture.

Madhavi Mangu-Gandhi (Mahasundari Madhavi dasi) is a member of the board at ISKCON of Round Rock. She is also an interfaith chaplain serving and speaking at various interfaith gatherings, highlighting the importance of spirituality, faith and its intersection with our daily lives.
